SG Iron Melting & Composition Control
Our advanced control systems lead to the precision and consistency of our SG Iron castings. The advanced Carbon Cup Technology vouches real-time monitoring and precise adjustment of chemical compositions, ensuring metallurgical excellence in every melt. This production setup is capable of:
- Analysing compositions with high Carbon Equivalent (CE) values, ensuring metallurgical stability.
- Setting target chemical levels for each job, and automatically alerting the operator when deviations occur.
- Storing data such as Job No., Heat No., Melt No., and Iron type for traceability and future analysis.
- Calculating Job-wise charge for efficient melt planning.
- Enabling input of raw materials like Steel, Pig Iron, and Returns to calculate the optimal charge mix.
- Displaying recommended alloy additions based on real-time results from Spectrometer and Carbon-Silicon Analyzer, ensuring precise chemistry every time.
