Key Responsibilities :
  • Set up and operate VMC, CNC, and HMC machiness
  • Perform tool setting, job changeovers, and offset adjustmentss
  • Read engineering drawings and process sheetss
  • Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring instrumentss
  • Ensure product quality, productivity, and workplace safetys
  • Participate in continuous improvement and 5S activities
Qualification :
  • Work Experience Required: 3 – 8 Years
  • ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Required Skills :

We are hiring a Manager – New Product Development (NPD) for our Durgapur, West Bengal location. The role involves end-to-end product development, tooling and trials, process validation, customer coordination, and ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Handle complete New Product Development (NPD) for automotive castings.
  • Review customer drawings and conduct casting feasibility studies.
  • Develop and review casting methoding, including gating, risering, feeders, chills, and process requirements.
  • Pattern and core box design/development and tooling manufacturing coordination.
  • Plan and execute tool trials, casting trials, and process validation.
  • Casting simulation and interpretation of simulation results.
  • Manage tooling trials, casting trials, layout inspection and tooling corrections.
  • Handle ECN / PCN and engineering changes.
  • Monitor NPD project timelines, tooling delivery, trial schedules, development costs, and customer requirements.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949, Automotive Core Tool (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC), CAPA and Kaizen.
Qualification :
  • Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
